hello friends

Creativity brings me great joy, presence and peace. Especially throughout the traumatic health diagnoses I have endured over the years. I am currently on treatment and thriving beyond breast cancer. Making art is my greatest passion and my work is infused with healing love. I am grateful to be alive and creating always!

Born and raised in Southern Indiana, my love for creating began as early as I can remember. Painting murals on my bedroom walls and drawing after school were my favorite pastime activities. At 20, I traveled and worked in fashion abroad in Italy and France, then followed my heart to NYC, where I received a degree in Textile/Surface Design in 2005.

Soon after college at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I was married with two children. Parenting, spiritual studies and yoga practice became top priorities. I was a dedicated student and became certified as a Vinyasa yoga teacher in 2011 through Yogamaya NYC. I enjoyed teaching family and private yoga classes for a short time. Throughout the years I gained several yoga and meditation certifications.

Art was tugging at my heart and divine timing led me to collaborate with The Moon Deck team, Aarona Lea and Ashley Bruni, in 2014. This allowed me to weave my passions of spiritual practice, illustration and surface design together to co-create magic and work in the studio full time. Aside from illustration and painting, I work with Mother Nature and experiment with natural fabric dye techniques. I use plant extracts and flowers to organically dye one of a kind silk wearables and home products. I also teach natural fabric dye classes periodically.

Over the past 6 years, I made it through stage 3 breast cancer with a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. I made it through open heart surgery and a mitral valve replacement during the pandemic. I am currently thriving while creating my way through another cancer diagnosis. Life is precious, that’s for sure!

I am open to discussing collaborations and commissions. Please email me at andikehdesign@gmail.com or use contact page.

I live in Brooklyn, NY with my husband Will Keh (Cloud Catering) and teens, Ruby and West, and our sweet pup, Willie.

Thank you for visiting!!

With love,
